This Senior Accountant position will be key in the expansion of this publicly traded communications company corporate office. You will be responsible for performing accounting and financial reporting functions as a critical member of the Corporate Finance team. You must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, have friendly, productive interactions with his/her colleagues and market controllers in the field, but also be able to stand firm when the enforcement of policies and procedures is required.
You responsibilities will include assisting the Financial Reporting Manager in preparing the monthly reporting package to senior management team. The package consists of consolidated income statement, balance sheet and cash flow, as well as dashboards and variance analysis, assisting the Corporate Controller in preparing the 10Q and 10K filings, and gathering financial and operating information to support all disclosures in these filings.
You must have private company experience as well as public accounting experience, preferably in the Big 4. Hyperion software experience is strongly preferred. Bachelor’s degree and a CPA is required for this role. This is a tightly run group, so they are looking for someone that is personable, responsible, intelligent, and driven.
