Our client is a large, service based company who is presently looking to hire a skilled Financial Reporting Manager for their team. If you are hired for this Financial Reporting Manager position you will report directly to their corporate controller and be responsible for the following: 1. Assist in the monthly, quarterly and annual close and consolidation of Company-wide financial results, including preparation and review of consolidation adjustments to ensure internal and external financial statements are properly stated. 2. Analyze consolidated results to ensure accuracy and to support information requests from management. Interpret and analyze all balance sheet fluctuations. Assist with the preparation of information for board meetings, analyst phone calls, etc. as needed. 3. Assist with preparation of the Company's consolidated statement of operations, balance sheet, cash flows and shareholders’ equity. Also assist in preparing supporting footnotes. 4. Assist in the preparation of Pro Forma financial information. 5. Manage the preparation of the Ratio of earnings to fixed charges, selected financial data and other supporting schedules required by the SEC. 6. Inform management of issues and ideas related to the financial or operational aspects of the businesses.
Additionally with this Financial Reporting Manager position you will be asked to support research of new accounting rules and other special projects which can include assistance with technical accounting research and the drafting of accounting white papers and other ad hoc analysis.
