Front End Technologist / User Experience Designer Contract length: 5 months Location:Allen
Description:Technisource is seeking a creative professional who can work with Engineering and Product Management to plan and create compelling user interfaces for next generation applications. Will receive input from internal and external customers, through development of workflows and information architecture, to the creation of high-fidelity comps and layouts, this position will be focused on delivering a compelling user experience
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Required skills: * Advanced working knowledge with design applications such as Photoshop, Fireworks, or Adobe Studio * Quickly create and iterate on various designs using wireframes and comps * Build HTML prototypes to demonstrate and test your visual concepts * Ability to create HTML and CSS from visual designs and wireframes * Rapid prototyping and refinement of prototypes based on design comps * Work with Software Engineers to create and build next-generation products * Make technical recommendations based on design and business requirements. * Experience developing visually pleasing, rich user interfaces using jQuery, Prototype, ExtJs or other standard frameworks. * Proficiency with front-end scripting including: HTML, DHTML, JavaScript, CSS, AJAX * BA/BS in Visual Design, Interaction Design, or other visual arts, or computer science * Must be a self-starter who requires minimal supervision * Excellent organizational skills, ability to handle diverse situations, multiple projects and rapidly changing priorities * Strong customer service skills
Preferred skills: * Hands-on experience with web application architecture and relational databases * Experience with .NET development platform
A portfolio of recent work is required - send file or URLs of sites/applications
