Geospatial Analyst
Understands technical requirements, relevant state-of-the-art technology for the program, and customer specifications and compliance documents. Conveys requirements to project personnel, ensuring first time right products and services. Responsible for technical and quality performance of projects which includes independent validation and verification, process improvement, audits, reporting, and lessons learned. Provides technical expertise to staff, suppliers, customers, and regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with contractual and company requirements. Analyzes and provides advice in areas of imagery exploitation and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) for meeting project requirements. Provides internal and external technical leadership and training in the geosciences discipline. Utilizes knowledge of technical operations and quality control to ensure full customer satisfaction with delivered products and services.

Typical Education/Experience
Level 2 - Technical bachelor's degree and typically 2 or more years' related work experience or a Master's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A technical degree is defined as any four year degree, or greater, in a mathematic, scientific or information technology field of study. Level 3 - Technical bachelor's degree and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or a Master's degree with typically 3 or more years' or a PhD degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Other Job related information
Experience in the production and analysis of traditional NGA legacy products to include, but not limited to DTED, HRTe, FD/TLM, MGCP, GNDB, DNC, CIB, DPPDB, and POID/COIP. Must completely understand and be able to apply GIS/IT principles, theories, and concepts. Experience with COTS geospatial packages such as ARC/INFO, GEOMEDIA, GAIT, as well as Socet Set photogrammetric software. Must have solid quality management skills which include the knowledge of quality process standards such as ISO 9001 and/or CMMI. Position requires Current Secret US Citizenship or equivalent (Refer to Security Clearance Definitions link above).
