* Support all DCAA audit activities—review audit requests; research and secure requested documents; assist in the preparation of audit rebuttals * Maintain audit log to document and prioritize all DCAA audit requests * Help develop an intranet portal for the Compliance department for the dissemination of compliance related information to the company staff. * Stay abreast of changes in government regulations and provide timely and accurate communication of changes to maintain company awareness for government compliance * Support/ Assist with the preparation of annual incurred cost submissions. * Other ad hoc tasks assigned by the compliance manager and director * Support the preparation of training materials on various compliance topics and presentation to company staff
Provides support to compliance programs and/or audit activities. Assists with the preparation and completion of regulatory and compliance documents to ensure compliance with contractual requirements and federal, state, and local government regulations (e.g. DCAA, DCMA, DOL, etc.). Maintains audit log to document and prioritize audit requests. Stays abreast of changes in government and contractual regulations and communicates changes to promote company awareness. May be responsible for or participate in some or all of the following: report creation and generation, data auditing, and creation/modification of policies and procedures. Requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and 1-3 years of related experience. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. Work is generally performed in a normal office environment where there is minimal exposure to unpleasant and/or hazardous working conditions. Job assignments may require working at client site where working conditions may vary. Travel may be required. Required Skills
* Bachelors degree in accounting or business * Minimum of 3 years in the U.?S.? federal contracting environment; 1 year in compliance management * In-depth, detailed working knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations, Cost Accounting Standards, and Truth In Negotiations Act and be considered a subject matter expert * Proven track record of resolving compliance and cost accounting issues with DCAA and DCMA * Excellent oral and written communication as well as teamwork skills * Working knowledge of Costpoint, Impromptu, Microsoft Office and other relevant accounting software * Self-directed and highly-motivated, with the decisiveness and flexibility necessary to operate successfully in a changing, rapid-growth, hands-on environment
