Heavy Duty Mechanic
In need of a Heavy Duty Mechanic with Hydraulic experience to join our growing team. We are looking to add to our team to have a new Heavy Duty Mechanic who will be working alongside our existing mechanic. Our goal for the future is to have the new mechanic learn all aspects of the position. This is to allow a smooth transition over when we only have one Heavy Duty Mechanic working.
This position will be working in a manufacturing environment, where the Mechanic will be working closely with millwrights and maintenance manager. The mechanic will follow a maintenance schedule to perform maintenance and repairs on forklifts, boats, boom lifts, and small gas powered engines. This person will primarily be working on their own to complete assigned tasks. This is a day shift from Tuesday to Saturday; the hours are from 6:30am to 3pm. You will be required to be on call in an emergency situation where a piece of equipment will break down and requires immediate attention. However this will be very rare, as we keep extra equipment on hand to avoid this situation.
