HMS/HIM Implementation Consultant
Robert Half Management Resources is looking for a HIM/HMS Patient Accounting Implementation Consultant who will be responsible for assisting facilities with the implementation of systems to support the Client Hospital . This consultant will provide support to HIM Departments for HIM specific system installations in accordance with the Client Hospital standards and model specifications.
Job Description: Provides on the ground support for the HIM facility staff for the following duties to include but not limited to:
Ensures the HIM Operations Project Plan and other pertinent project plans are completed Ensures critical milestones are completed accurately and timely Reviews systems design Validates: o Build o MPI o Forms o Workflow o Interfaces o Data Flow o User Provisioning o Versions and enhancements o Reviews gap analyses Assists with forms conversion Ensures testing is completed and outcomes meet test script objectives Unit testing Integrated testing Supplies, reviews, and monitors HIM Communication Plan and tools Trains and educates end users and super users Revises training materials based on lessons learned or systems modifications/enhancements and submits to the designated Informatics Management Director Revises training materials to ensure they are specific to each facility Obtains HIM Director signoff on all materials prior to submission for printing Provides Implementation support Ensures corporate standards are met and followed through all phases of the project Recommends policies and procedures based on lessons learned and submits to the designated Informatics Management Director Escalates to designate Informatics Management Director when objectives are not being met.
