Job Description:
Position Summary:
Partners with leaders, local management and the Human Resources team to help drive business results through various HR processes and initiatives. Responsibilities include providing advice and counsel on HR matters, recruiting support, payroll liaison, compensation support, new employee on boarding, performance management assistance, and providing coaching and employee relations support.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
. Analyze information, identify issues and recommend actions and solutions . Coach and consult with managers on HR related matters . Partners with management of assigned client groups to achieve business objectives through the effective support and resolution of HR needs and issues . Provides advice and guidance to employees and managers on HR programs and processes; provides advice and counsel in employee relations situations; coaches and/or mediates with employee and managers where needed . Collaborates with HR team members to develop and implement program best practices, including compensation, benefits, training and development, performance management, diversity and talent development . Looks for opportunities to create and improve HR programs and policies . Provide necessary HR administration in the areas of unemployment and disability claims, workers compensation, and general related HR inquiries
Knowledge & Experience
. Bachelor's degree in business, HRM or related field . 5 years minimum direct HR client support experience . PHR or SPH certified is a plus!
Skills & Ability
. Possesses a full understanding of industry best practices and company policies and procedures . Strong interpersonal skills and communication skills to interact with all levels of an organization . Analyze and resolve a wide variety of complex issues or problems . Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions . Ability to work independently and within a team environment . Strong organizational and multitasking capabilities . Complies with all internal control policies and procedures and will implement control improvements based upon changing business conditions
