III Corps/Fort Hood Marketing Lead
Northrop Grumman Technical Services (NGTS) is seeking a former Combat Arms Senior field grade officer (O-6) to join our team of motivated professionals. The position is located within the Ft Hood Military Community, Killeen, TX. The qualified applicant will become the III Corps and Fort Hood marketing lead, responsible for capture efforts to secure new or re-compete contracts, or task order business. Develops capture strategy including business solution for pursuit of opportunities; identifies potential customers, competitive assessments, teaming suppliers, and prices-to-win; participates in bid and proposal activities; maintains on-going interaction with marketing. Applicant will be the face of Northrop Grumman on Ft Hood and will represent NGTS in all business activities.
Roles and Responsibilities: Oversee training and support contracts and other NGTS interests within the III Corps Military Community. Applicant must possess expert leadership and managerial capabilities, with proven ability to effectively manage resources, coordinate effective business processes, deliver outcomes within time constraints, manage competing priorities, and adjust quickly to deal with time sensitive requirements.
Basic Qualifications:Masters Degree, MEL 1, 20 years military experience. Applicant must have excellent and demonstrable written and oral communications skills, with proven ability to articulate complex technical issues to a wide audience. Working knowledge of the Government process for authorizations and appropriations with an understanding of and experience with the DoD and Army acquisition process. Must be a U.S. Citizen.
Preferred Qualifications:Highly desirable to have operational experience in OEF, OIF or Operation New Dawn and have served as an Army Brigade Commander.
