Import/Export Coordinator II
-Prepare and review shipping documents. Responsible for daily communication with vendors and Customs Broker regarding shipment and documentation requirements -Maintain files and shipping log on shipment-by-shipment basis. -Analyze all incoming shipments to determine best shipping method -Manage visibility of shipments and communicate results to sales, program managers, allocations, and shipping/receiving. -Create inbound deliveries and coordinate shipments with assigned freight forwarders and vendors from various points of origin to multiple destinations -Responsible for invoicing subsidiaries/distributors -Research and resolve discrepancies between shipped quantity from supplier and received quantity from warehouse. -Streamline and manage all communications with Subsidiaries/Distributors, Allocations, Operations and Receiving departments to ensure all AFA cargo meets/exceeds our target ship to retail windows. -Issue credit/debit memos to Accounting as needed. Work with Accounting to reconcile any invoice discrepancies -Ensure month-end reporting of sales volume accurately
