Inside Advertising Sales Representative This position is located in a casual, fun work environment at our Headquarters in Helena, AL Do you love to sell? We don’t sell products, we sell solutions. Our inside advertising sales department is integral to servicing many of our core suburban and rural clients across the country. What We Need You to Do: * SELL, of course!! Sell print, shared mail and other services to prospective and current advertisers across the country. * Just the facts, ma’am!! Provide sales reports to management as requested. * Be on time! We don’t like to be clock watchers, BUT deadlines are critical in our industry…the ads must go out on time! * We don’t need you to be Martha Stewart, but you have to be able to keep it all straight. File management, Time management, and Organizational skills are crucial in our work. * We give you the tools, resources and training…. We expect you to use them all and more to engage new clients!! Knowledge about us, our clients and their industries is selling power! * Take no prisoners! Know the competition and how our solutions can benefit the client (and take market share).

Incentives:
· During the first 12-18 months of employment—all sales reps are paid a salary guarantee + quarterly bonuses. The quarterly bonuses are based upon agreed sales goals. · After the initial 18 month guarantee period is over, our Inside Sales Rep’s compensation transitions to monthly guarantee + commission plan. There areno sales capsso reps have top earnings potential. Required Experience:
Apply if you have: * Proven business-to-business inside sales experience (2+ years minimum)…PROVEN is the optimum word here. * A LOVE of connecting over the phone. This is what separates us from the pack. Having the skills to convey authenticity, share MailSouth solutions, and build credibility without meeting someone face to face is a must. * Advertising Sales Experience. Of course, print ad sales would be a bonus, but is not required. * Self-motivation, independent spirit and the ability to hold yourself accountable. Don’t worry though—we’ve got a great Management team to help with accountability as well. * Strong prospecting, presentation and closing skills….what good sales job doesn’t need these?? * Proficient Computer Skills….You don’t have to be a techie, but not knowing how to sort in Excel, for example, could be a problem. * Outstanding time-management skills.
