Large manufacturing and distribution company in the South Metro is seeking an Inside Sales Representative! This candidate will work cooperatively with other employees and departments to grow existing customers, create new customers, and meet or exceed monthly sales expectations while increasing customer satisfaction. This will be done through outbound calling and answering inbound customer inquiries via phone, fax, and web. As an Inside Sales Representative you will be asked to increase sales and average order size by means of cross-selling, up-selling, add-on sales and offering promotional sale items. Leads will be generated through cold calling, answering incoming phone/fax/web customer inquiries, and transferring calls to the appropriate people. These calls will be conducted in a professional manner to all customers and clients. Any customer orders received will be entered into the internal system. You will also be required to document all customer history and follow up throughout conversations held with customers and clients.

Experience: A strong candidate will be able to communicate clearly and demonstrate an outgoing personality and personal confidence as you will be responsible for responding to consumer needs and wants through planned, personalized communication, with the goal to influence purchase decisions and ensure satisfaction. You must also have a strong drive and self initiative to generate additional orders from customers and clients. Proficiency with Microsoft Office is required as well as experience in sales over the phone. Any previous experience in up-selling is beneficial as well.
