Intern Business A
The Boeing Company offers several business summer internships in Portland, Oregon. These full-time, paid internships enable you to gain hands-on experience while contributing to exciting programs, helping us meet customer needs and learning from experienced professionals. The intern program is designed to engage students in specific work assignments as well as development and social activities throughout the summer.
This HR internship is in the Boeing Commercial Airplanes Business Unit, Fabrication Division and may include the following work assignments: support the implementation of people strategies; advocate employee interests and perspectives; investigate and develop solutions to people-related issues; advise and counsel managers and employees on HR issues; prepare and analyze reports and make recommendations to customers regarding workforce planning, salary management and training; and support and implement workforce plans to attract, retain, develop and deploy the necessary talent to meet organizational objectives.

High school diploma or GED.

We are looking for someone who has shown an interest in Human Resources field of study and has had some coursework, education/training in Human Resources. Successful candidates will have demonstrated leadership skills, excellent communication skills, analytical skills and teaming abilities. The intern will possess general business skills and be able to apply business principles, methods, and processes to solve problems. Clearly state your major, cumulative GPA and graduation date (month/year) in your resume. Candidates should be Junior or Sophomore level college students who are scheduled to graduate between August 2012 and June 2014 and who are pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration with a focus in Human Resources, Communications or Management preferred (other business-related or Psychology degrees considered). Assignments begin when your school recesses for the summer of 2012 and last approximately 12 weeks.
