INTERN - Financial Analyst
Title: INTERN - Financial Analyst Location: Arkansas-Conway Financial Analyst Intern will assist with the software capitalization accounting process for internally developed software. The intern will also assist with the accounting processes relating to enterprise software agreements.
Job Duties and Responsibilities: *Assist with internally developed SW capitalization and amortization including database entries, reporting, and account reconciliations *Assist with reconciliations, journal entries and month-end closeout related to enterprise software agreements *Assist with preparation, filing and distribution of monthly/quarterly management reports *Research expense issues using PeopleSoft and Clarity Required Skills and Abilities: *Ability to work independently with minimal supervision *Strong attention to detail *Basic understanding of Microsoft Windows environment, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access *Previous accounting experience is preferred
Work Hours: 20-30 hours during the summer. 10-15 hours during the Fall and Spring semesters
Preferred Educational Requirements: Students seeking a Bachelor or Masters degree in Accounting or related areas of study. The students must be at least a 2ndor 3rdyear accounting student. GPA: 2.75 or above
