Enjoy the smaller town life: country space, freedom from traffic, easy access to recreational activities in nearby mountains, rivers, and forests, as well as great schools and ernational Tax SpecialistResponsibilities: * Actively monitor and manage international tax aspects of operations and transactions for compliance, risk and opportunities. * Identify research, analyze, and implement international tax planning strategies for new business initiatives and current operations. * Lead and support broad range of recurring and project work related to international tax, working with internal and external resources. * Prepare and/or review tax filings, tax provisions, FIN 48 documentation and other analysis related to international operations. * Work with non-finance groups to increase tax knowledge and awareness. * Establish and improve performance metrics. * Follow and improve area processes. * Other Duties as lifications: * B.A. degree in Accounting and CPA license * Minimum 5 years experience in international tax * Working knowledge of transfer pricing, FIN 48 and FAS 109 * Proficient with Microsoft Excel * Creative, motivated, self-directed * Excellent speaking and writing skills * Ability to quickly learn new skills and assume new responsibilities * Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment * Background check results satisfactory to SEL * Negative drug test result(s)Preferred Qualifications: * Tax experience with manufacturing or high technology global company * A Masters in Tax Accounting (M.T.A)An Award Winning CompanySchweitzer Engineering Laboratories, Inc.
