Our company is looking for an Inventory Optimization Manager to support our Auto Replenishment business in improving inventory turns and maximizing fill rates. The Inventory Optimization Manager will model supply chain replenishment activities, optimize inventory at a multi-echelon level and flow product in demand driven methodologies. This individual will need to work cross functionally with Sourcing, Demand Planning and our Supply Base to set-up optimal replenishment models. To be successful, the Inventory Optimization Manger will be required to easily move between systematic modeling, detailed tactical analysis and project management communication. What will I do at this company?
The Inventory Optimization Manager will model the supply chain of our Auto Replenishment product to determine the optimal quantities and locations to store inventory.
Full modeling ownership and maintenance of the Logility Inventory Optimization / Optiant models and all inventory reporting related to Auto Replenishment product
Identify all forecast error, forecast shifts and supply chain variability and perform root cause analysis to identify the impacts they will have on inventory
Work collaboratively with Sourcing, Demand Planning and our Supply Base to establish and maintain demand driven supply chains to be as nimble and flexible and drive turns and service level
Report on the root causes of why we are holding inventory in certain locations and what can be done to continue to improve these levels
Analyze changes in inventory positions and be able to Executive level inventory walks to explain any unplanned shifts
Insure that all supply chain master data and BOM data is properly updated and maintained
Track and report on KPI's on a daily basis
Analyze and communicate the results of multiple inventory management strategies for ways to bring other product categories onto a multi-echelon replenishment model
Provide Executive level presentations during the monthly S&OP process on Auto Replenishment inventory and service level

What does this company need from me?
Bachelors Degree in Operational Research, Industrial Engineering or similar degree.
4-6 years in multi-echelon supply planning is required.
2+ years with Optiant/Logility Inventory Optimization or SmartOps
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Expert level Microsoft Excel and Database Reporting skills are desirable
Competent and knowledgeable in best practices in inventory management, APICS or other Supply Chain organization certification desired
Ability to identifying and evaluating key supply issues and develop appropriate alternative solutions to meet KPI goals and provide information to make these decisions.
