IT Project Manager/Business Analyst***Candidate must be local to Charlotte, NC and able to work for any employer on a W-2 basis***
Our client, which is located in south Charlotte, NC is looking for an experienced IT Project Manager that also has experience as a Business Analyst and could perform some Business Analyst duties as needed.
- Act as a liaison between business users and technical teams to identify, analyze and translate user needs into written business specifications for new application development or enhancement requests - Translate business requirements into functional specifications, technical specifications, process flows, and use cases for consumption by internal development groups. - Work with Project Management staff and leadership to create, maintain and update required management reports on the status of current projects, product initiatives, and development issues; - Experience and business domain knowledge in the Retirement Services Industry, including Retirement Plans such as SRA, IRA, Keoghs, 401k, and 403b would be a plus. - Coordinate / participate in all business and technology activities for customers facing projects through scoping, estimating, project planning, requirements, design, development, testing, implementation, and launch. - Lead multiple small / medium, complex IT projects - Tracking all functional design questions/issues from Business, IT, and 3rd party vendors, driving all to resolution. - Leverage subject matter experts across the company to ensure successful delivery. - Encourage and motivate matrixed teams to work together to achieve common goals - Assists senior level management in coordinating business activities, sequencing projects and related priorities, and balancing workload for efficient program / project related issues - Present complex information in a variety of formats to senior and executive level management - Serve as subject matter expert in all aspects of IT project management methodology and project lifecycle. - Maintain project documentation, plans, schedules, status reporting, estimates, and forecasts. - Ensure compliance with IT policies and standards. - Follow SDLC and project management life cycle and best practices.
