Practice Technology Project Manager The Practice Technology department of a multinational law firm is currently seeking a Project Manager to lead projects for our eData enterprise client team. This role will provide oversight, guidance and leadership to skilled and experienced Practice Technology Analysts, and is responsible for supporting all aspects of practice technology services provided to the firm's eData enterprise clients. A key focus of this position is to ensure consistency of service across matters for those clients, and drive process improvement initiatives to further enhance client satisfaction levels. This position will coordinate litigation support activities, prioritize work, supervise progress and set expectations for completion. This includes communicating regularly and proactively with case teams to assess needs, forging relationships with paralegals, attorneys and eData colleagues throughout the local office, other firm offices, and with external partners as appropriate. This position will also be required to conduct, monitor and manage workflow plans, master new applications, and ensure case teams satisfaction in all regards. Two key expectations for the successful candidate will be (1) initiative and regularity with clear and concise written communications (2) dedication to train, mentor and develop Practice Technology Analysts. This position reports to Sr. Project Manager of Practice Technology and does not have direct supervisory responsibilities. It is anticipated that the business needs of the position will require hours in excess of a 40 hour work week and will involve some degree of weekend work. The requirements for this position include: · A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university strongly preferred · A minimum of three years of experience in project management based activities including supervision of workflow of personnel, preferably in a law firm or corporate law department setting. · Heavy concentration of paralegal, litigation support and/or technology background experience. · Working knowledge of technology resources and their application in litigation. · Management aptitude and ability to mentor others. · Ability to assess and meet the needs of attorneys. · High degree of customer/client service and exceptional organizational skills.
