From regular maintenance and water management, to seasonal color and tree care, we want you to gain the skills you will use for the rest of your career.
What You Will Do: ValleyCrest Landscape Maintenance offers a structured 12 - 16 week internship (length depends on your schedule and our local business needs) where you will have the opportunity to meet with some of our customers and work with our management team. You will also cycle through a variety of departments and positions, including (but not limited to) the following:
. Exterior Field Crew . Exterior Account Management . Agronomic Operations . Equipment/Shop Operations . Irrigation Account Manager . Irrigation Field Crew . Business Developer . Purchasing/General Support . Landscape Enhancements . Branch Manager One on One and Recap Project . Intern's Choice Overview - interns are encouraged to choose an area of specialization
What We Expect From You: . Be prepared to outline your internship goals and review them with your mentor. . You will be required to learn and work with a dedicated team of professionals - we expect that you will be passionate about the business, have an eye for quality, a focus on customer service, the work ethic to get things done and the confidence to ask questions and share opinions. . You should be pursuing a degree in Horticulture, Turf Grass, Arboriculture, Ag Science, Ag Business or related. . You should be prepared to learn a lot during your internship, but most importantly, we expect you to work safely at all times. . Your career goals should be to work within the exciting green industry upon graduation and should select a branch proximate to where you will be after graduation. We want to get to know you and your work so that we can offer you a fabulous job when you graduate.
