Job Description
Position duties include the following:
- Develop and review technical plans and solutions relating to ILAP and its integration into LIW. Provide expertise on the integration of various logistics data systems to include SARSS, SAMS, GCSS-Army, LIDB and Property Book systems to both Government and ILAP project personnel. Develop and manage the implementation of technical designs and plans for integrating logistics data to meet Army logistics management needs.
- Provide expertise on Army logistics automation systems to the ILAP program. Provide recommendations on systems designs, architecture and configuration in support of ILAP future transition and modernization in response to changes in Army logistics policies and systems, to include GCSS-Army.
- Will be responsible for coordinating directly with the customer, will discuss and communicate technical recommendations and solutions with customer, will handle other liaison tasks between project staff and the customer regarding systems licensing, upgrades and warranty support for the various hardware, software and operating systems used on the project.
Specific Qualifications:
- Seven to ten years of IT systems maintenance and support experience
- Strong experience with Windows operating systems, Oracle database support, web application support and networking.
- Experience with Army IT systems, particularly logistics systems.
- Must be a strong communicator with good interpersonal skills.
Desirables:
- Network architecture knowledge and experience a plus
- Experience with CMMI Level 2 compliant project management
- Experience with Oracle, ColdFusion, Citrix, Java, Windows
- Experience with ITIL services process management
