Job Description
General Overview: applicant will provide in-theater analytical support to an Army Sustainment Brigade in Afghanistan, with a focus on using the LIW/ILAP functional capabilities to support staff operations. This position supports key decision makers and brings timely visibility to operational as well as tactical supply, maintenance and financial information.
Daily activities involve using the Army's Integrated Logistics Analysis Program (ILAP) to access logistics data for use in modeling, trend identification, statistical analysis, and the generation of charts/graphs and briefings.
The analyst must have experience with Army logistics management processes, be able to package and present information to senior leaders, and conduct on-site training on select STAMIS applications.

Specific requirements are:
Candidate will perform the following tasks at either of the following - Bagram Air Field (BAF) at the 401st AFSB HQs; at BAF at 3rd Battalion, 401st AFSB RPAT Yard; or 4th Battalion, KAF Afghanistan RPAT Yard.

Will analyze supply, maintenance, and transportation data and provide recommendations for daily operations using the LIW/ILAP, A-TCOP, and other critical logistics STAMIS application such as Joint Transportation Systems including - Global Transportation Network (GTN), Transportation Coordinator's Automated Information for Movements (TCAIMS), In-Transit Visibility (ITV), Joint Operation Planning and Execution System (JOPES), Integrated Booking System/Container Management Module (IBS/CMM), the Army War Reserves Deployment System (AWRDS), Property Book Unit Supply Enhanced, and locally generated databases and spreadsheets as needed. The results of the analysis and recommendations shall be provided IAW A002.
Monitor data transfers, network connectivity, network security, access control, and data integrity. Notification of critical abnormal situations shall be initially reported by voice within one hour of discovery. Provide in-theater input, analysis and recommendations to the AFSB for maintaining the reports and dashboards. The results of the analysis and recommendations shall be reported. Produce one time use reports related to supply, maintenance, transportation, and distribution management requested by various staffs and commands within Southwest Asia. Provide rational and scripts used along with the results to the requestor.
Support senior logistics manager responsible for establishing and confirming property accountability, convoy preparation, office and logistics STAMIS systems for potential feeder data to various levels of management reports in LIW/ILAP and/or A-TCOP.
Coordinate transfer of electronic data related to RPAT management such as inventory and inventory control results, convoy, lateral transfer, and other supply type transactions to ARCENT G4 Log Automation for inclusion in LIW/ILAP and/or A-TCOP.
Help develop new integrated logistics reports and analysis in coordination with stakeholders in Afghanistan. Develop and coordinate requirements for new automated applications.

Specific Qualifications:
- Logistics management background.
- Applicant must have an expert level of knowledge with the Standard Army Retail Supply System (SARSS), the Standard Army Maintenance (SAMS), and ILAP.
- Applicant must have the experience with and the ability to write Standard Language Queries (SQLs).
- Applicant must have a current Secret Clearance.
- Must have strong Microsoft Excel (including Pivot Table creation) and PowerPoint skills.
Desirables:
More than casual experience with the Army's Integrated Logistics Analysis Program(ILAP).
Previous Army logistics experience (supply and maintenance) DA Civilian, Senior NCO, Warrant Officer, or above.

Minimum Level of Education:
