General Job Description: Provide subject matter expertise and intellectual capital on logistics-related subjects, including Supply Chain Management, Global Logistics Support, Lean Initiatives, and AFSo-21. Build relationships across multiple client bases across the Air Force enterprise from program management offices to maintenance activities and from wholesale to retail supply. Develop, define and interact with diverse firm functional capabilities, including economic business analysis, modeling, simulation, wargaming and analysis, and operations. Apply knowledge of Life-Cycle Management, Aircraft Availability Improvement, wholesale and retail supply processes as well as systems issues to solve client challenges. Also strongly support client projects related to logistics transformation. Specific Qualifications: -5+ years of experience with specific AF logistics systems and processes (e.g. SBSS, D035, D200A, COLT, AFEMS, REMIS, IMDS, LogMod, SMS, EXPRESS, etc) -3+ years of experience with AF Logistics initiatives, including AFSo21, Lean, and High Velocity maintenance -Experience as staff officer at the MAJCOM or HQ AF level -Experience with the maintenance, repair, and overhaul of aircrafts and subsystems - Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required. Desirables: Previous military experience desired Prior experience with logistics processes and systems Prior experience creating and delivering high level military briefings Experience as a participating member of an integrated product team Knowledge of business case analysis methodologies used in industry or government programs Ability to interact with senior AF officers Experience with SCOR Desirable Certifications: Minimum Level of Education: (Other education, commensurate experience and demonstrated ability of individual may be substituted.) Bachelors degree with 5 years of experience
