Logistics AnalystTitle: Logistics Analyst
Location: IN-Fort Wayne
PDS Tech is seeking Logistics Analysts for one of our client's in Fort Wayne, IN.
*
Focal point for all interactions related to the Dispatch of assigned geographical area.
*
Develops daily plan to reflect the workload required in a specific geographic area.
*
Coordinates the daily work plan with the AMCO and Local Manager to ensure the availability of man-hours within the region.
*
Makes recommendations regarding overtime.
*
Dispatches trouble reports and service orders in a timely manner through the effective administration of AWAS graphics database.
*
Re-deploys trouble / service orders not covered according to priority matrix.
*
Reviews and prioritizes appointments; expedites as needed.
*
Responsible for service results in the assigned area as a member of the Area Managers team.
*
May be required to work weekends, split shifts, and holidays. Office hours are 6 am to 7 pm.
*
This position directs customer contact. Must be able to communicate with other departments, Local Managers and Area Managers.
*
Must be able to communicate with customers.
*
Must be proficient in time procedures for I&R and Cable Maintenance.
*
Must be proficient in Workbench/AWAS environment, vRepair, NOCV.
*
Must read and write legibly.
*
Requires sitting for prolonged periods while operating a keyboard.
*
Must be proficient in Windows XP. EXCEL & WORD proficiency desired.
*
Qualifications include a working knowledge of SABIT, 4-Tel, Workbench, NOCV, AAIS, COPS, OTD, AWAS, Internet Explorer, Excel, Word, Lotus Notes, Sametime; data entry experience; attention to detail; computer or keyboarding skills
*
Ability to work accurately with numbers; strong oral communication skills with the ability to work with little or not supervision.
