Experience with current Marine Corps communications and communications security (COMSEC) systems and with Marine Corps maintenance practices and procedures. Ability to: * Implement and manage a comprehensive logistics support program to meet near-term and future COMSEC program objectives, as well as to support currently fielded COMSEC devices and systems. * Develop documentation to introduce new COMSEC devices and systems to the Marine Corps. Documentation and tasks would include systems requirements, battery requirements, SL-3 lists, cataloging, and Technical Manuals. * Track inventory of COMSEC devices fielded to Marine Corps operating forces. * Provide liaison between the program office and Marine Corps Systems Command internal and external shareholders. * Provide support in various meetings with senior Marine Corps organizations and COMSEC working groups. Determines support requirements including facilities, personnel, safety, and maintenance. Directs and coordinates program activities designed to ensure effective and economic support. Analyzes and evaluates design concepts to determine if concepts satisfy support requirements; studies the relative supportability of alternative concepts. Determines logistic support sequences and time phasing. Anticipates logistics problems related to operational area and environmental and human factors; determines contingency requirements and solutions. May design and conduct research or technical studies to support logistic functions. Qualifications:
* Requires Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, and five to seven years of related experience. * Advanced skills in the use of Microsoft Office products (Word, Project, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, etc). Ability to work independently, as well as part of an integrated program team. Effectively communicate both orally and in writing. * Former Marine Corps COMSEC Custodian or Electronic Key Management System (EKMS) Manager. (Desired) * Department of Defense acquisition process with Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA), Level II certification in program management and/or life cycle logistics.
