* Support the ACAT I Program in the EDM Phase entering DT * Responsibilities would involve but not be limited to, completing logistics support analysis; defining requirements for system/platform operations, maintenance and repair; development of appropriate level logistics documentation (i.e., plans, analysis reports); planning the provision of logistics support and equipment for base operations; and planning all training needs and requirements associated with the systems. * Additionally, Logistic Analyst will provide subject matter expertise regarding supportability/logistics to include all supportability elements (manpower, training, Reliability, Availability and Maintainability (RAM), human factors integration, manuals, installation, fielding, etc. to support the Marine Corps with the definition and implementation of the systems supportability strategies/plans. * Conduct investigations and studies and presenting recommendations and The Logistics Analyst will focus on performing logistics support functions for the USMC Common Course of Action solutions related to short and long-range program planning requirements while accessing and reducing risk areas. Serves as a company expert, oversees the analysis of the most complex problems in terms of management information and conceptualizes proposals that afford maximum probability of profit or effectiveness in relation to cost or risk. Performs very advanced and complex systematic reviews of selected functions to determine application and design of systems or models. Participates in various testing functions (i.e. string and acceptance tests) to verify that results are correct. Develops and updates functional or operating manuals outlining established methods of performing work in accordance with organizational policy. Trains clients or user personnel in the operation and capabilities of proposed models. Provides functional guidance on more complex projects. Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent experience and ten to twelve years of related experience. Master's degree preferred.
Required Skills: * Proficient in use of Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, Power Point and Project. * Strong analytical, verbal and written communications skills. * Excellent interpersonal skills. * Ability to work both independently as well as part of an Integrated Product Team. * Ability to multitask and produce quality products. Knowledge and experience with Marine Corps logistics, particularly as it relates to acquisition logistics. Must possess knowledge and subject matter expertise regarding logistics and supportability elements, including Manpower, Training, Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, Human Factors, Manuals, Installation, and Fielding.
