Our client has an immediate full-time opening for a Logistics Analyst to support the Program Executive Officer for Littoral Combat Ships Chief Logistics representative at the Washington Navy Yard. This individual will coordinate and perform routine tasks associated with lifecycle logistics support processes, policy development and implementation, milestone assessment and reviews, recording of program documentation/historical records for new and legacy systems. The individual will be responsible for preparing and maintaining numerous program management briefs, gathering and preparing executive correspondence, maintaining an electronic data repository of IUID, SOM, DMSMS and other programmatic records. Additionally, the employee will serve as the focal point for data research, coordinate and assist in process implementation/logistics metrics capturing efforts and manage the local interim logistics library.
Candidate must demonstrate leadership and strong skills and proficiency with MS Office applications (Excel, Word, Access, Powerpoint). Candidate must have experience in and proven abilities working in a team environment, as well as assignments independently. Individual will attend professional level logistics forums and meeting (as directed). Responsibilities will also include monitoring of data management efforts and coordination of related ILA actions/responses/resolutions, reporting and certification processes including but not limited to distribution of numerous acquisition documents/plans (Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL), Statements Of Work (SOW), UID/RFID Plans, SAMPs, TEMPs, LRFSs, CM Plans, etc. and ensuring scheduled reviews to resolve findings are conducted recorded and published.
Required Qualifications: Bachelor?s degree (in Logistics Management, Mathematics or related field) or equivalent with experience. This experience must include Navy/Marine Corps systems requiring and utilizing lifecycle logistics, acquisition, sustainment or modernization support processes.
Desired Qualification: Experience with developing naval correspondence, participation in the hosting or conduct of Independent Logistics Assessment with familiarity of the SECNAVINST 5000.2E or SECNAV 4105 is highly desired.
Clearance Type: Must have a current DoD SECRET clearance.
