Task Description/Responsibilities: TheLogistics Specialistshall: Support all matters pertaining to parts receiving, issuing, shipping, inventory, and repair including:. q Prepare items for shipment and storage to include DD1149. q Develop requisitions for and manages records of equipment, components, repair parts and related manuals. q Participate in installation, deployment, and site inventories. q Packaging of equipment (fabricating boxes/crating for shipment). q Document site usage of consumables and plan for future consumables procurement. q Document and issue spare parts, tools and test equipment, oversee the spares at fly-to-sites. q Accomplish all provisioning for the program and maintain an inventory database. q Prepare documentation required to ship material to program locations and retrieve materials remaining after an installation. q Recommend to the Government the need for spares, tools and test equipment, and consumables, to support new equipment and site installations. q Maintain an inventory of all equipment, as defined by the Government. q Perform Stock and warehouse control.
Minimum Qualification Requirements: Education: q A High School Diploma
Experience: q Experience in the following areas is required: o Minimum of 3 years of Hands-OnLogisticsexperience in aDoDenvironment. o Ability to lift up to 50 pounds from the floor to a desk or table top o Experience with forklift and pallet jack is Highly Desired. q Successful candidates must: o Be US Citizens, and, o Beable to communicate clearly in English, both orally and in writing
Security Clearance: q Must be a US Citizen q Must be eligible to obtain aDoDTop Secret Security Clearance. Candidates with a current TS/SCI Security Clearance highly Desired
