General Job Description: Applicant will work on-site in Balad, Iraq. This position will support key decision makers on high visibility operational and tactical supply, logistics, and maintenance issues. Daily activities will focus on the Integrated Logistics Analysis Program (ILAP), with other efforts to include data access, manipulation, and summarization, modeling operations, trend identification, generation of statistics and analysis, and generation of charts/graphs and power point presentations. The analyst must be able to present briefings to senior leaders, conduct on-site training of the logistics applications, and have a experience with Army logistics management processes. The applicant must be able to monitor file transfers and data processes. The candidate must be a highly knowledgeable ILAP user. Specific Qualifications: Business or logistics management background. Applicant must have an expert level of knowledge with the Standard Army Retail Supply System (SARSS), the Standard Army Maintenance (SAMS), and ILAP. Applicant must have the experience with and the ability to write Standard Language Queries (SQLs). Applicant must have a current Secret Clearance. Strong Microsoft Excel skills, to include Pivot Table creation and use, are necessary. Thorough familiarity with Power Point is required. Desirables: Expertise and use of the Army's Integrated Logistics Analysis Program(ILAP) is required. Previous Army logistics (supply and maintenance) experience is required. Desirable Certifications: Minimum Level of Education: (Other education, commensurate experience and demonstrated ability of individual may be substituted.)
