Maintenance Mechanic
Aerotek is currently recruiting for Maintenance Mechanics in the bay area. The Maintenance Mechanic (MM) is responsible for performing general mechanical and preventative tasks and inspects, services, repairs and overhauls equipment as directed. The MM installs all new equipment and systems as assigned and insures installations and operations comply with all manufacturer's specifications with all applicable codes, regulations and the safety policies. The MM also carries out routine and specific assignments to insure that the physical plant and assigned equipment are in safe operating condition and in compliance with applicable policies and with regulatory and/or accrediting codes and specifications.
Qualifications: -Experience in an INDUSTRIAL environment -Ability to read blue prints -Experience working with large equipment -Use of pneumatic tools, conveyer systems, hand tools, power tools, precision measuring and testing instruments -Experience with engines and motors -Auto mechanics need not apply
