Position
Account Executive and Major Account Executive
Purpose
Build business by identifying and selling prospects; maintaining relationships with clients. Manages Revenue to Budget through forecasting, prospect qualification and closing sales
Duties
* Identifies business opportunities through lead generation and qualifies prospects for managed service solutions.
* Sells products by establishing contact, make initial sales presentation and developing relationships.
* Closes sales by explaining product and service capabilities; overcoming objections; and preparing contracts per corporate process through CRM system (Salesforce).
* Maintains relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance; expands sales in existing accounts by uncovering new solution opportunities.
* Identifies product improvements or new products by remaining current on industry trends, market activities, and competitors.
* Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information.
* Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
* Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies.
* Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Requirements:
Qualifications
* Bachelors Degree
* 3 years sales experience
* Demonstrated knowledge in technologies such as Managed Services, Replication, Virtualization and Data Storage
* Demonstrated negotiation skills
* Strong organizational skills
* Demonstrated leadership skills
* Communications and customer presentations with key/strategic account mgmt role
* Effective team player
* Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
* Knowledge of IBM AS400 a plus
