Brief Description
This position will focus primarily on providing Events and its consituents support in the areas of list strategy and development, list aggregation, campaign performance analysis and testing. Ancillary responsibilities include data cleansing and management, list invoicing/payments as well as other various database-related tasks.
Detailed Description
Assist and manage list strategy, segmentation and extraction activity in support of North American Symposia and Summit events. Execute campaign performance analysis of all North American Summit (conferences) and Symposia, including but not limited to audience trends, list performance, marketing mix components, marketing touch/contact performance and expense-to-revenue results. Assist in the ideation, development and day-to-day management of all internal and external marketing databases, ensuring data quality, usability and security. Assist Marketing Managers in executing audience demographic analysis and ad hoc reporting on all North American Summit (conferences) and Symposiums. Assist and/or manage in day-to-day database marketing management activities which include but are not limited to processing invoice payments and monitoring pre-paid postage program expense. Assist in all other marketing initiatives as directed.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Mathematics, Finance and/or Quantitative discipline and 5 years experience in marketing, marketing analysis or statistics. Detailed knowledge of MS Office Suite - specifically MS Excel and MS Access - as well as MS Project, Internet Explorer and Outlook. Exposure to various database disciplines and baseline understanding of relational database management. Strong planning and organization skills. Good oral and written communication skills with proven ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Background in direct marketing and circulation planning essential.
