Summary: * The Maintenance Reliability Manager is responsible for the continued implementation and leadership of a progressive and integrated Reliability Centered Maintenance and Equipment Reliability improvement process across all value stream organizations. * This position will lead efforts to create and implement proactive strategies that improve reliability performance to world class standards. * This position also had overall responsibility for ongoing facility and maintenance operations.
Essential Functions: * Work with plant leaders to develop a reliability-centered maintenance program that positions the plant to attain world class performance. * Development of internal team to enable rapid implementation of reliability centered maintenance program * Keeps technical skills current and transfers knowledge to team. * Responsible for sponsoring continuous improvement activities within the maintenance organization. * Assist in the implementation and maintenance of the Vistaprint Production System (Lean) * Supports and utilizes proactive failure management tools to predict and prevent unplanned downtimes. * Supports root causes analysis techniques to diagnose failures and prevent recurrence. * Meets customer requests in terms of delivery, quality, function and speed. * Provides direction to maintenance supervisor, facility engineer, day technical staff, maintenance planners and shift maintenance technicians. * Ensures adherence to maintenance and facility key performance indicators. * Creates project plans and ensures that appropriate resources and time are allocated to accomplish results. * Participates/leads and coordinates projects. * Develop and implement maintenance tracking system to ensure effective planning, communication and completion of maintenance items. * Responsible for maintenance and facilities budgets. * Coordinates creation and management of spare parts inventory process. * Other responsibilities will include meeting corporate and business unit goals, drive safety, quality, productivity, and people improvement and results through engineering and maintenance innovation
Education * Reliability Engineering experience preferred, consideration given for Electrical/Mechanical/Industrial Engineering experience/education * Continuing education in maintenance reliability and lean manufacturing preferred
Experience * Minimum 6+ years in a management position * Experience managing, mentoring and growing team members * Demonstrated ability to manage projects and solve complex technical problems using formal techniques to evaluate systems, equipment, and failures. * Ability to interact effectively with all levels, and all positions, within organization * Experience using Reliability Centered Maintenance techniques, Root Cause Analysis, and predictive maintenance technologies (e.g. vibration analysis, infrared, etc) to create a proactive work environment that is focused on continuous improvement. * Driven, energetic and global thinker who desires personal growth * Excellent oral and written communication skills * Excellent interpersonal skills and dedication to customer service * Ability to manage multiple projects, work independently, as well as on a team, prioritize workload & meet deadlines * Working knowledge of local, provincial and federal government regulations * Demonstrated experience with HR practices and programs
