ABM Industries, a leading national facility services company, is seeking a Director of Insurance Services for its corporate risk department in Atlanta, GA. The customer-service oriented professional will report to the Vice President of Risk Management, and will have primary responsibility for:
* Supporting Division and Regional operations/sales with insurance-related products and services, including management of the Certificate of Insurance and Bond processes. * Directing the insurance renewal process and analyzing alternative contract language and cost proposals * Identifying and evaluating new risk exposures * Supervising the Insurance Services unit * M&A due diligence * Assist with Loss Allocation modeling * Analyze captive feasibility * Assist in retention analysis * Special project management
Required Experience and Education:
* 7-10+ years of progressive experience in an insurance or risk management department of a large, multi-state corporation or 10+ years of progressive experience in commercial lines underwriting or brokerage services or a combination of experience. * BA or other relevant college degree required. ARM, CPCU, MBA or other advanced degree/related certification desired.

* Excellent interpersonal, communications and writing skills * Proven managerial abilities * A very high degree of technical knowledge relating to insurance and underwriting * Critical thinking and the ability to achieve program objectives through cooperative efforts with departments across a decentralized organization * Strong spreadsheet and word processing skills, preferably with Lotus Notes or MS Word
