Adecco Group, a world leader in the recruitment of Manufacturing and Office Professionals, has an immediate opening for a Manufacturing Compliance Specialist on a 6 month opportunity with a leading company in Memphis, TN.
Job Purpose and Key Responsibilities: . Maintain accurate electronic database of current and obsolete controlled documentation. . Fluent use of Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Professional, the metric system of measurement, conversion and translation from American to and from metric system. . Strong organizational skills, interpersonal skills, and communication skills with all levels of the organization. . Update site Raw Material and Finished Product Specifications . Manage site wide updates to Standard Operating Procedures / Cleaning and Sanitizing Procedures / Batch Production Records to include compliance with proper formatting, spelling, and grammatical protocols. . Issue Batch Documentation to Manufacturing. . Interact with internal/external Regulatory authorities during site inspections. . Maintain accurate hard copy records of current and obsolete controlled documentation. . Responsible for performing periodic audits for location accuracy of controlled documentation at the site. . Responsible for monthly reporting of Documentation management for Quality Council review. . Handles departmental procurement through the Esp purchasing system. . Back up position to Quality Services Assistant Required Skills: . 3 years experience in the pharmaceutical/OTC or related industry or function. . 2 years experience in the area of FDA controlled documentation maintenance. . Familiarity with cGMP and FDA guidelines. . Experience working in fast paced environment under little or no supervision . Ability to independently handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize activities. . Strong ability to maintain methodical approach to regular tasks efficiently and accurately Complexity: . Position is required to develop the skills necessary to implement new technology around electronic documentation management systems. . Demonstrated track record working under short timelines with high delivery percentage . Accuracy and attention to detail in multiple formats and ability to cross reference for comparison, update and challenge across multiple disciplines. Specialised Knowledge: Highly skilled in the use of the entire Microsoft Office Suite. . In depth knowledge of QMS policies and guidelines for documentation management. PAY RATE: Starting at $15/hr based on experience.
