Manufacturing Operations Manager
Global Gear & Machining is in search of a highly qualified Manufacturing Operations Manager for our high growth company. We are a precisions gear manufacturing and component machining company providing product to a wide array of reputable OEM companies.
Responsibilities
Provide leadership and direction to the Production Team.
Co-ordinate production activities with Production staff to insure manufacturing objectives are accomplished in a timely and cost effective manner.
Performa administrative activities associated with the effective management of a production environment.
Direct involvement with all staffing activities, including hiring, employee training, employee development, and compliance with company policy and regulations.
Ability to work with cross functional teams and mentor productive interaction with all production support groups.
Establish, convey, and promote the adherence to developed operational and budgetary goals.
Provide input and guidance for new product development, new technology implementation, and overall improvement strategies.
Oversee a three shift operation with 5 days operation plus OT or flex hours as needed.
Establish and maintain a working environment that follows TS requirements.
Requirements:
Knowledge of and proven success with Production Processes, machine operations, employee development, and Employee leadership
Strong technical skills related to gear manufacturing and or Precision Machining
3-5 years of leadership experience.
Excellent communication and strong computer skills.
Quality orientated background with full knowledge of TS guidelines and efficiency improvement initiatives (lean, 5S, Six Sigma).
