Market Research Analyst – Marketing Firm – Downtown ATL - $50-60K Prestigious marketing firm has an immediate need for a SAS experienced Market Research Analyst! Job Description: * Maintain internal databases, reporting and provide regular, scheduled updates to the research director * Analyze, track and report market and competitive intelligence findings from various sources. * Analyze engineering performance data to provide insight on key metrics used in advertising claims. * Research and analyze all possible data sources for new advertising claims * Track and verify the validity of competitor claims for possible refutation * Build strong working relationships with account management and the client to facilitate the dissemination of market intelligence. Candidate should have a strong work ethic, a highly developed curiosity, as well as the persistence to prove or refute various hypotheses of market dynamics is a plus.
Minimum Qualifications: * One + year(s) experience in an analytical field including marketing research, competitive intelligence, or related experience. * Bachelor’s degree in business, statistics, economics; competitive university with degree honors preferred. MBA or master’s degree in marketing research, statistics or related discipline, preferred. * Proven, successful experience and proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint, and SAS. SPSS and MapInfo proficiency a plus. * Proven record of being a strong “team” player, often at the exclusion of personal gain. * Excellent organizational, analytical, and verbal and written communication skills. * Proven, successful project management and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
