Title: Market Research Analyst, Senior Location: Virginia-McLean Key Role: Provide assistance to capture leaders and other executives in Booz Allen with comprehending a client, a market, or a capability. Provide content and generate intelligence via research of multiple data sources, including the internet, commercial, government, and proprietary databases. Design and implement analytical frameworks in support of capture efforts in the DoD technology market. Lead and perform major market research efforts that demonstrate rigorous and critical analysis. Perform research and develop reports on new markets, competitors, major programs, and procurement trends and author and present analytically rigorous and visually stimulating charts, diagrams, and layouts in support of major content deliverables that inform bid and no bid decisions. Perform rigorous and in-depth searches of commercial and government databases to inform capture efforts and generate and supply analytical content and results in presentation format. This position is located in McLean, VA. Basic Qualifications: -5 years of experience with performing market research and analysis in the federal market, preferably DoD -5 years of experience with leading and managing projects of an analytical nature -5 years of experience with using the Federal Procurement Data System and federal commercial opportunity tools, such as INPUT, FedSources, and DACIS -5 years of experience with federal government contracting -Experience with Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint -Experience with preparing presentation materials conveying analytical content -Ability to think strategically and link competitive intelligence and market research to business objectives -Ability to obtain a security clearance -BA or BS degree
Additional Qualifications: -Knowledge of the federal contracting and acquisition environment -Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment -Ability to work independently and as part of a team -Ability to be motivated by the act of teaching others -Possession of excellent oral communication skills -Possession of excellent presentation skills -Possession of excellent research and analytical skills
