Our client, based in Orange County, is looking for a Market Research Analyst with minimum 3+ years of experience. Excellent communication, presentation, and analytical skills are a must. The salary for this position is commensurate with experience but is in the range of $50-60,000 base + discretionary bonus w/ good benefits.
Responsibilities include: Manage web analytics and social media research project. Set up and track web metrics across all consumer websites, monitor search engine results and social media exposure. Provide creative/advertising team with analytical reports and recommendations.
Prepare monthly sales and inventory reports to Rubber Manufacturers of America (RMA) and RAC. Compile market summary and FTC market share report to Executive Committee. Design Market Snapshot that includes major economic indicators and industry drivers for FTC employees. Attend working PSI meeting and make State of Industry presentation.
Perform daily market research activities collecting and communicating market information for management and sales personnel. Update Monthly Market Analysis report on economic indicators and industry drivers. Research competition and market dynamics to provide accurate data for decision makers.
Act as Company representative at industry associations. Attend market analysis committee meetings, provide five (5) year industry forecast and report consensus forecast result back to FTC along with meeting summary, fulfill facilitate assignments and other association member responsibilities.
Manage, search and download tire imports information from Zepos (US Import Information), cleanup and analyze data, and create reports that summarize import
Qualifications: At least four (4) years of marketing experience, preferably in the tire/automotive industry. A 4-year college degree from an accredited college in Marketing or Business. MBA preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job.
SKILLS: Must be proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook), as well as web analytical software (Google Analytics, Ominiture, etc.). Must be detail oriented, extremely organized and self motivated; and be able to provide accurate, useable, and efficient data. Must have strong analytical and statistical skills and excellent communication and presentation skills to deal effectively with all levels of personnel.
