We are currently seeking a Material Coordinator to join our outstanding team for our site at the Joint Base - McGuire, Dix, and Lakehurst (JB-MDL) in New Jersey.
This position coordinates and expedites the flow of material, parts, and assemblies within or between departments in accordance with production and shipping schedules or department supervisor's priorities.
Duties and requirements include but may not be limited to the following:
.Review production schedules and coordinate material needs .Ensure availability and delivery of materials as needed .Verify materials delivered for accuracy and timeliness .Monitor movement of materials for specific job orders and processes .Compile inventory reports, production records, and project database .Knowledge of product and manufacturing processes .MS Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
The qualified candidate will have strong communication and interpersonal skills necessary to work well in a team-oriented working environment and support other employees in basic work duties. Previous experience working with people with special needs is a plus.
