Medical Billing and Collections Specialist
Our client is growing Medical / Health Company headquartered in Louisville, KY. This position includes entering receivables and payables, report preparation, contacting third party payers to determine claim status, billing of institutional and professional claims, contacting patients to follow-up with any outstanding account balances, and balancing data entered into the system.
The duties of this position include the following: * Contacting insurance companies / third party Payors to determine claim status for institutional and professional claims * Patient account research and follow-up * Billing and re-billing of medical claims * Patient account data entry and maintenance * Posting deposits to patient accounts * Posting any necessary adjustments as required, report generating as required
