This position's LSSC program title is Echelons Above Brigade Division Manager and is responsible for interfacing with and supporting the NTC's Support Brigade and Rotational Support Battalion (RSB) Commanders' mission by providing Echelons Above Brigade logistics services and support through effective logistical planning, coordination and integration of operations that includes forecasting, requesting, tracking and delivery of all classes of supply for Rotational units from arrival to departure included within the Performance Work Statement for Logistics Support Services at Fort Irwin, California. Advises the NTC's Support Brigade and Rotational Support Battalion (RSB) Commanders on all logistical Supply, Services, Transportation, and Maintenance Operations in support of the NTC's mission by functionally closely mirroring the layout of an Army Combat Service Support Battalion (CSSB) organization. Provides supervision and management of the Forward Operating Base ""FOB Modernization"" foam tents and ancillary equipment program, to include sub-contractor PWS compliance. Provides supervision and management of subordinate personnel who employ the use of Army STAMIS systems required to accomplish EAB logistics support and services to include performance as the RSB Support Operations Center Staff organization. Responsible for the oversight of all the LSSC Six Sigma Black Belts and Green Belts to greater degrees of competency. Executes all work in compliance with applicable regulations, laws, standards, codes, directives, and required permits. Complies with all reporting requirements of the contract and parent company. Mentors and enhances the performance of subordinates. Is considered a key position and reports directly to the Project Manager.
This position is contingent upon contract award.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited College or University, Masters Degree preferred.
Must have five (5) years experience in general management of rotational support services to include all requirements of the PWS.
Fifteen (15) years of progressive responsible management and leadership experience in logistics related field.
Must be experienced and competent in computer and general office equipment usage.
Must be experienced and competent in the operation of Army STAMIS systems and commercial automations and information systems and programs.
Fifteen (15) years in leadership/management role(s) in large logistics organizations.
Must possess a valid state Driver's license and be able to obtain a military operator's permit for each type of vehicle or equipment required to operate.
Field of Expertise: Maintenance, Supply, and Transportation (Logistics).
Must possess a DOD Secret clearance or ability to acquire it.
