Summary: System analyst support for MDA Ground-Based Midcourse Defense (GMD) System Engineering and Integration Directorate (MDA/GME), Analysis & Performance Division. Primary duties will be development and analysis of radar cross section (RCS) data using the X-PATCH software. This data will be utilized for GM pre-flight test design and GM system architecture studies. Secondary duties will include system level integration and conduct of technical performance analysis of the GMD system. The candidate must possess technical experience working with the setup, data extraction, and analysis of data from large-scale, high-fidelity system simulations; experience with GMDSim is preferred. It is desired that the candidate have a working-level knowledge and previous experience supporting the Ground-Based Midcourse Defense (GMD) program. The candidate must be able to work within a collaborative environment composed of Government, Prime Contractor, and Supporting Contractor personnel in a badge-less contractor environment. The candidate must be willing to accept responsibility and accountability for the development and presentation of technical reports and briefings on a regular basis. Strong communication skills including the ability to interface with and respond to actions from Senior MDA Leadership are desired. A current DoD final SECRET clearance (minimum) is required.
