Title: Modeling, Simulation, and GIS Developer Location: Virginia-McLean
Key Role: Provide modeling and simulation software development expertise and support for a system conduct Military and non-Military modeling and simulation analysis, planning, and wargaming functionality. Support government client projects in the areas of Web development, including user interface, modeling and simulation, and algorithms. Convey design and implementation choices both in-house and to clients. Perform programming functions using languages and platforms, including JavaScript, Soap, XML, Object-oriented analysis and design concepts, Service-oriented architecture analysis and implementation patterns, and various database skills. This position is located in McLean, VA. Basic Qualifications: -3 years of experience with Java, C#, or C development -3 years of experience with software development, engineering, and architecture -Ability to obtain a security clearance required -BS degree required
Additional Qualifications: -2 years of experience with analytical methods, including classical statistics, discrete event models, systems dynamic modeling, forecasting, agent-based modeling, adaptive systems, functional analysis, numerical analysis, pattern recognition, neural networks, optimization theory, network topography, sequence analysis, Markov models, or graph theory -Experience with XML and RDBMS -Experience with rich Internet applications, including ASP, Flex, and Silverlight -Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills -Active Secret clearance preferred -MS degree in CS, Engineering, or a related field preferred
