We are looking for someone to be responsible for all sales activities, from lead generation through close. Develops new prospects to increase sales of our products and services on a domestic and international level.
Main Purpose of the Job: Works within the sales and support teams for the achievement of customer satisfaction, revenue generations, and long-term account goals in line with the company vision and values. Travel domestically and internationally to obtain and expand new business development.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: (Other duties may be assigned.) Present and sell company products and services to potential clients. Prepare action plans and schedules to identify specific targets and to project the number of contacts/sales to be made. Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity. Identify sales prospects and contact these and other accounts as assigned. Creates and conducts effective proposal presentations, RFP responses, and sales contracts tailored to the clients specific needs. Develop and maintain sales materials and current product knowledge. Attend seminars, trade shows, and Direct Mail events Establish and maintain current client and potential client relationships. Prepare paperwork to activate and maintain contract services. Manage account services through quality checks and other follow-up. Identify and resolve client concerns. Prepare a variety of status reports, including activity, closings, follow-up, and adherence to goals. Communicate new product and service opportunities, special developments, information, or feedback gathered through field activity to appropriate company staff. Coordinate company staff to accomplish the work required to close sales. Education and/or Experience Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or three to five years of related sales experience with database, the fundraising industry, and direct mail, and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Language Skills Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Computer Skills To perform this job successfully, an individual should have some knowledge of Microsoft Office Products- including Microsoft Excel, Word and Power Point, as well as knowledge of Adobe Acrobat, Database software, Internet software, and Sales Force and Project Management software. Other Skills and Abilities To perform this job successfully, an individual should exhibit excellent time management skills, be very detail oriented, demonstrate prospecting and negotiating skills, client relationship building, presentation skills, and , self-confidence.
