RNCase Manager- Radiation Therapy
Full-Time, Days
The RN Case Manager ensures appropriate utilization of resources, facilities, and services by the review of admission, continued stay, and professional services rendered. Identifies patient discharge needs and works in collaboration with nurses and physicians in managing the patients care needs along the continuum. Establishes and maintains a good rapport and professional relationship with fellow employees, physicians, patients, and other departments. Follows policies and procedures of the hospital. Participates in the Quality Improvement process and adheres to all standards of behavior.
Qualifications
Education: Associate's Degree (or Diploma) in Nursing is required; a current and clear Florida Registered Nurse license is required; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is preferred.
Experience: A minimum of one (1) to three (3) years of nursing experience required. Radiation Therapy experience required. Case management experience preferred.
Skills/Abilities: Good organizational, critical thinking, multi-tasking, and communication skills in a detail-oriented manner, customer-focused organization are required. Basic computer skills are required.
