Job Description

* Oversee and direct daily operationswith total profit making responsibility for operations with sales revenue
* Work in conjunction with sales and marketing departments to generate revenue.
* Provide direction and leadershipto ensure effective management of operations with the farm, facility, equipment, distribution center, pest management and irrigation.
* Oversee purchase and pricing approvalsand inventory planning, as well as collections.
* Implement efficiencies in business and best practices

* DO NOT APPLYunless you have a Bachelor's degreein agribusiness, horticulture or a related field and at leastfive years' experience managing and supervising a nursery.
* Candidates with experiencemanaging a ranchcould be considered as well as long they have experience running the operation as a "for-profit business" and not acting as a hired hand
* Experienced in managing afield grown B&B(balled and burlapped) tree operation
* Experience analyzing and managing material, equipment, labor cost and contracts
* Strong knowledge ofgreen industry trends and practices
* Extensive background with agriculture, horticulture, farming, or landscaping is a necessity for this role
* Deep understanding of government relations and cultural practices in the industry
* Must be authorized to work in theUnited Stateswithout sponsorship.
