SUMMARY:
The Office Manager role is responsible for supporting all administrative and accounting functions of the office. Responsibilities will include providing quality customer service over the phone and in-person, record and file management, ensuring timely and accurate reporting, manage office equipment and supply inventories, and special projects as required.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Reconciling and balancing accounts.
· Classifying, recording, and summarizing numerical and financial data in order to compile and keep financial records
· Checking figures, postings and documents for correct entry, mathematical accuracy and proper coding
· Compiling statistical, financial, accounting or auditing reports and tables pertaining to such matters as cash receipts, expenditures, accounts payable and receivable, and profits and losses
· Completing and submitting tax forms and returns, workers' compensation forms, pension contribution forms, and other government documents.
· Establishes and maintains effective relationships with customers/peers and provides timely, responsive follow-up, ensures that all are treated in a fair and respectful manner, talks and acts with customers in mind.
· Administers associate payroll and time card processes
· Understands the company?s business processes, applies his/her skills to maintain a high level of productivity, is accurate and thorough in delivering quality work and pays attention to all relevant details.
· Outstanding verbal, written communication skills, customer service skills, phone etiquette and works well in a fast-paced dynamic atmosphere. Team-oriented mentality.
· Demonstrates strong computer proficiencies. Proficient with Windows 2000 - Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
EDUCATION &/OR EXPERIENCE:
· Bachelor?s degree in Accounting, or Associate?s degree in Accounting plus relevant experience.
· Minimum three years of related administrative or office support experience.
