Job Description:
The Operations Director/Operations Manager will report to the VP of Operations and work closely with the Business Unit leaders for the practice that they support. The Director will manage the financial and tactical operations of the practice and will be responsible for the creation, maintenance and distribution of key internal financial and operational reports, performing ad hoc analysis and special project work, and will support other operational and financial processes as necessary. The key goal of this position is to maximize the operational performance of the practice to enable profitable growth and administrative efficiencies.
Key Responsibilities include * Planning and budgeting financial plan for the practice * Revenue forecasting * Engagement Analytics * Operational Scorecards * Engagement Management involving pricing approvals, rate changes, revenue recognition * Senior Management Operations Reviews * Acquisition activity * Establish and refine policies and practices * Liaison with Corporate Services Job Requirements:
• Bachelors degree, ideally in finance or accounting, advanced degree is a plus • Minimum 10 years of experience in consulting or professional services industry • Prior experience in an operational role reporting to senior management • Strong analytical and problem solving skills • Exceptional PC skills, especially proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Access • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to learn quickly, work independently, and meet deadlines • Working knowledge with Microsoft Word, Access, PowerPoint and Business Objects • Outlook and automated accounting software applications
