We are looking for a motivated and professional employee to oversee the day-to-day operations of the health club. You will be responsible for managing and coordinating the activities of the Front Desk, Kid's Club, and Retail staff, as well as providing support to the General Manager.
As an Operations Manager you will be responsible for:
Recruiting, hiring, training and supervising the staff of your departments
Preparing weekly schedules for employees to ensure proper coverage in each department
Conduct daily inspections and approval of timecards
Exceeding our members' expectations and actively promoting and enforcing our Company Care and Retention initiative throughout the club
Ensuring that all employees are providing our members and guests with an outstanding workout experience
Enforcing company policies as well as federal, state and local laws
Completing all administrative tasks in a timely manner
Maintaining CPR, First Aid and OSHA standards in the club
Implementing new training programs as they are introduced
Performing all other duties as assigned
Skills/Requirements
Proven success in an operations management role
Excellent customer service and communications skills
Results oriented with a commitment to team success
Basic computer skills
Fitness enthusiast who understands the value and benefits as well as actively participates in fitness
Satisfactory completion of a mandatory full background screen
Experience in sales and/or fitness a plus
Candidates must be at least 18 years or older to apply
