Position Summary:
This position is responsible for making outbound calls to aid in the collection of past due contract premiums. Resolve and reprocess rejected credit card transaction problems. Perform daily call center responsibilities, working with the floor supervisor to maintain the efficient operation of the call center. Ability to effectively make outbound calls, take inbound calls using a dialer and or manually. Ability to navigate collections database effectively. Effectively use skills and tools to locate, contact and resolve delinquent debts. Follow company policy as well as FDCPA guidelines in the collections of 1st Party defaulted accounts.
Responsibilities:
. Provide quality customer service in all tasks. . Make outbound phone calls to past due customers to resolve their account. . Make outbound phone calls to customers whose credit card has rejected or expired leading to open amounts on their account. . Track statistics on success of outbound collection calls. . Confer with customers by telephone in attempt to determine payment schedule. . Regular attendance is required.
Supervisory Responsibilities This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. One or more years related experience preferred.
Language Skills
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports/correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. Must have good analytical skills.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer Skills
Ability to operate external web based applications, Windows knowledge and Microsoft Office including MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook and MS Access
